about us

We’re family owned and operated, local to New England, and so excited for you to experience our products.

Steven (co-founder/Chef) is a classically trained pastry chef, having honed his skills at the Culinary Institute of America and over a decade in the high end hospitality and business dining industries. Lindsay (co-founder/CEO), an experienced marketer and fundraising professional, has been a medical cannabis patient since 2017, using the plant to manage chronic PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression. When they first met, Steven experimented with creating THC-infused edibles for Lindsay to offer a more tailored effect to meet her needs.

The rest, as they say, was history.

The husband and wife duo saw an opportunity to provide more options for restricted diets in varying THC doses. Together they founded The Happy Confection, driven by their shared passion for cannabis and its benefits for both medicinal and recreational use.

Handcrafted in Westbrook, Connecticut, our products are made with the highest quality ingredients. We source locally and sustainably whenever possible. We never use any artificial flavors or colors. And as a queer-owned and woman-led business, we’re so appreciative of the support our customers have for what has been a longtime dream, finally realized.

We hope to meet you in-person at local pop ups — be on the lookout for our products, coming soon to your favorite Constitution State dispo.
